Retention and the data processing agreement

You decide how long the text of messages and deleted records are kept; the platform keeps a few things for fixed periods. The data processing agreement (DPA) says how we process your customers’ data on your behalf.

How to do it

Section titled “How to do it”
  1. Open Settings → Privacy.
  2. Set how many months message texts are kept (3–120) and how many days deleted records can be restored (7–365), then press Save.
  3. Check the Nightly clean-up: what was removed each night at 04:20.
  4. Under Data processing agreement, press Read the agreement or Download PDF. When a new version comes, the owner presses Review and accept.

Good to know
